Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in a parade of shops on a main road. It dispenses NHS
prescriptions and supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to a
number of people to help them take their medicines safely and delivers medicines to
some patients. It also provides travel vaccinations, the Pharmacy First service, the New
Medicines Service, smoking cessation service and the minor ailments service.
This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in February 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.3. This reinspection focused on that Standard which had previously not been met. The pharmacy provided evidence that it had been recording the fridge temperatures daily since the last inspection and these were seen to be within range.
