Reviewed and updated our SOPs for our drug alerts/recalls. There has been a team meeting with an audit trail, so that everyone clearly understands what to do in case of a drug recall/alert. Regular meetings will follow with clear auditing trails when an alert/ recall is come across. All alerts/recalls will be printed and gone over with the entire staff basis at Atkins and everyone will sign to say they understand the particular alert/recall. |

All items not in a temperature controlled refrigerator have been removed and everything moved into a specialist pharmacy refrigerator that is accurately and carefully temperature controlled. Any non temperature controlled pharmacy refrigerator will not hold any POMS or medicines for patient usage. |
