Reports from themed inspections

Themed inspections involve visiting a selection of pharmacies to focus on specific themes or issues in more depth, and then producing a report identifying learning and good practice that can be shared across the pharmacy sector.

Our first themed inspection was carried out by our CPhO Clinical Fellow, who conducted a good clinical governance (GCG) pilot themed review across Great Britain (GB). It focused on good clinical governance leadership, systems, and processes across a range of community pharmacy (CP) settings.
