Pharmacy context

This quiet pharmacy is situated in a closed unit in the town centre. Members of the public do not usually visit the pharmacy in person. Instead, the pharmacy delivers or posts medicines to people's homes. The pharmacy has a website (www.medicallpharmacy.co.uk) which provides information about the pharmacy and its services. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions and supplies a number of medicines in multi-compartment compliance aid packs to help people take their medicines at the right time. This was a desktop inspection following an inspection earlier in April 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.5 and 4.2. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy provided a current certificate of indemnity insurance and assurance that there was a system in place to ensure people using the pharmacy's services would be adequately covered going forward. The pharmacy's home delivery service had been reviewed to include a robust audit trail in line with its written procedures.
