Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is located next to a medical centre in Northfield, Birmingham. It dispenses prescriptions and sells a range of over‐the‐counter medicines. And it offers NHS Pharmacy First Service, substance misuse service, and seasonal Covid‐19, and flu vaccinations. The pharmacy also supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to some people who need assistance in taking their medicines safely.
This was a desktop inspection following an inspection in March 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet standard 3.1. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the Superintendent Pharmacist has taken various measures to improve the overall organisation of the pharmacy and has provided assurances that the pharmacy is operating safely and effectively.
