Goodcure Pharmacy (9012589)

Inspection outcome: Standards not all met

Last inspection: 10/02/2026

Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes

Pharmacy context

This is a distance-selling pharmacy, which is located on an industrial estate in Rowley Regis. It does not hold an NHS contract and instead provides a range of private services. This includes the sale of over-the-counter medicines through its website www.goodcure.co.uk. The pharmacy also offers private prescribing services using via a pharmacist independent prescriber. This covers conditions including asthma, contraception and erectile dysfunction.

This was a full reinspection following an inspection in July 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.5, 1.6 and 4.2. The inspection identified repeated issues around risk management and record keeping affecting the safety of the prescribing service, resulting in enforcement action.

What do the inspection outcomes mean?

After an inspection each pharmacy receives one overall outcome. This will be either Standards met or Standards not all met

Met The pharmacy has met all the standards for registered pharmacies
Not all met The pharmacy has not met one or more of the standards for registered pharmacies

What does 'pharmacy has not met all standards' mean?

When a pharmacy has not met all standards, they are required to complete an improvement action plan, which you can find via a link at the top left of this page. We monitor progress to check the improvements are made and inspect again after six months to make sure the pharmacy is maintaining these improvements. A new report will then be published.
