Pharmacy context
This is a private pharmacy in a business unit in Leicester. It provides a private online prescribing service mainly for weight management and sells Pharmacy Only (P) and General Sales List (GSL) medicines online.
This was a targeted reinspection following an inspection in March 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 1.6. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy now has risk assessments that cover the whole of the service including each of the medicines and treatments which are provided. The pharmacy is following its guidance for the sale of pharmacy only (P) medicines. This includes an ID check for medicines at risk of abuse and recording the reason a sale is approved. The prescriber now routinely records their prescribing decision for the weight loss management service. But further improvement is needed to make sure that people do not receive weight loss treatment which is not suitable for them.

What does 'pharmacy has not met all standards' mean?
When a pharmacy has not met all standards, they are required to complete an improvement action plan, which you can find via a link at the top left of this page. We monitor progress to check the improvements are made and inspect again after six months to make sure the pharmacy is maintaining these improvements. A new report will then be published.
