Pharmacy context
This is an independent community pharmacy located on a busy high street in Southall, London. The pharmacy dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. And it sells medicines over the counter. The pharmacy also supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people who need them. This was a re-inspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in May 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet standards 1.6 and 4.3. The inspection focused on the standards which were not met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has taken action to ensure medicines are stored and secured as required. However, it still needs to ensure it maintains its records appropriately and as per legal requirements.

What does 'pharmacy has not met all standards' mean?
When a pharmacy has not met all standards, they are required to complete an improvement action plan, which you can find via a link at the top left of this page. We monitor progress to check the improvements are made and inspect again after six months to make sure the pharmacy is maintaining these improvements. A new report will then be published.
