Ali-Chemist (1035112) - Improvement action plan

The pharmacy does not maintain the records it needs to by law. This means it cannot always show who is responsible for the activities being undertaken at the pharmacy during its opening hours. And it does not maintain the records required for certain medicines to show when they are received or supplied.

Responsible PhaRmacist (RP) Record: The pharmacy is now ensuring that it signs in and out on the RP tab on the record daily. This will ensure the record is up to date. Controlled Drug (CD) Register: This has been reconciled and is now up to date. This will be maintained ongoing. A weekly balance check will be conducted and a weekly record sheet will be signed. The RP, CD and Record Keeping procedures will be updated with these steps and re-signed by all staff.
