Zen Healthcare (9012125) - Improvement action plan

Standard not met Reason Action being taken by the Pharmacy By when Notification By Pharmacy Improvements Made
2.2

The pharmacy does not have all its staff either enrolled on or having completed a suitably accredited training course. One of the dispensing assistants is not currently enrolled on any accredited training to make sure they have appropriate skills, qualifications and competence for their role and the tasks they carry out. And to help make sure they are trained in line with GPhC education and training requirements for support staff.

The pharmacy has contacted the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) to enroll the dispensing assistant in an accredited training course.

The enrollment process is currently in progress, and the dispensing assistant will begin training as soon as enrollment is confirmed.

The superintendent pharmacist will monitor the progress of the training and ensure compliance with GPhC education and training requirements for support staff.

A structured training log will be maintained to track progress and completion.
