Members of the pharmacy team are inadequately supported, and under-resourced. There is limited evidence that sufficient action has been taken when team members have raised legitimate concerns about the lack of staff.

Our HR department has now in place a rota planning system that ensures all requirements for holidays and days off, are agreed with the branch, and all shortfalls covered.
Our head of HR will continue his Wednesday morning rounds of visiting all branches on a cycle to capture any staffing issues.
If there are any future concerns raised by staff on legitimate staffing levels I will encourage these to be addressed to HR by email so these can be reviewed promptly.
I will send out an email to all branches to encourage this and our staff handbook will be amended to reflect this.
