The pharmacy does not always enrol team members on to suitable training courses necessary for their role.

We have updated our enrolment process for new employees. After a one month’s probationary period (instead of the current three months) to ensure that both employee and employer deem the role suitable, the employee will be enrolled on to a suitable training course based on age, previous qualifications, experience and job role.

We are currently in the process of updating the training records for all employees and these will be reviewed at the annual appraisals.

Any necessary training needs will be addressed in a timely manner based on type of training required, courses available and timeframe for training to be completed.
