The pharmacy fridge is too small for purpose and the maximum and minimum temperatures are outside the expected range.

After receiving the feedback from the inspection, we have taken action on the dispensary fridge. We first of all created a list of the items we have in the fridge. From this we were able to tell what items are overstocked and need not be ordered again. At this time, we also checked the date on the products to ensure no out of date medicine was in the fridge. The excess unneeded stock was disposed of in the correct manner. The temperature probe was also reset with the probe being placed in a solution in the middle shelf of the fridge. The stock in the fridge is better organised and will be checked on a weekly basis to ensure the fridge is well maintained.
