All stock which has been removed from the manufacturer’s original pack will be disposed of. Exceptions to this are medicines which have recently been removed from their original packaging, where the identity and quality of the contents has been confirmed by the RP, and where the P/L number, batch number and expiry date can be verified and added to the packaging. A relevant manufacturer’s PIL must also be available for supply and any other essential information which verifies the quality of the product and renders it safe and appropriate for people. |
