Some members of the pharmacy team have not completed appropriate training. So, the pharmacy cannot provide assurance that they have the skills and knowledge they need for their roles.

Individual staff training requirements
assessed and reviewed.
All staff enrolled on appropriate training - courses all provided by NPA. (15th Dec 2023) MCA and DA courses.

Medicines are sometimes re-packaged and stored without batch numbers or expiry dates. So, the pharmacy cannot provide assurance that they are in good condition and suitable to supply.

Dispensary divided up by Superintendent Pharmacist and areas assigned to specific staff members.
Whole dispensary has been date-checked, tidied and unsuitably stored stock has been duped.
All duped stock supervised by either
Superintendent Pharmacist or
Pharmacist.
Staff have signed on date-checking matrix to indicate completion
