In the short term, doses for the day are to be stored securely under lock and key at all times. The pharmacy will trial a new computerised dispensing system which would eliminate the need to pre-dispensed doses. The doses would then be dispensed as and when the patient arrives to collect. Also, the pharmacy is in the process of procuring a new appropriately large CD cupboard for storage. |
