The pharmacy’s professional indemnity insurance does not fully cover all its services. For example, sending medicines to the United States and Canada

Dock pharmacy is currently not processing or accepting orders from USA and Canada whilst the appropriate insurance is been arranged.
We shall send insurance documents once the insurance has been arranged that specifically covers USA and Canada.

There is evidence that excessive quantities of pharmacy (P) or general sales list (GSL) medicines are being sold without challenge. And the responsible pharmacist does not have the appropriate level of oversight to ensure that the pharmacy sells its medicines online safely.

The company has put procedures in place:
1) ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
2) Record Keeping for PAAD (Pharmacy At A Distance)
3) the supply of OTC medicines online
4) managing medicines safely in PAAD (Pharmacy At A Distance)
5) Running a Clinical Audit
6) managing medicines safely in PAAD (Pharmacy At A Distance),
7) Supplying medicines safely in PAAD (Pharmacy At A Distance)
8) Record Keeping for PAAD (Pharmacy At A Distance)
9) Risk Assessment in PAAD (Pharmacy At A Distance)
10) Refusing a Sale
11) the supply of OTC medicines online
12) collecting patient consents
13) Age and ID Verification
14) Order check list for P and GSL products to be signed off with every order.

Previous orders of the customer is printed ( if applicable ) along with the current order with the answered questions for the responsible pharmacist.

A check list of the order process is printed for each order which is signed off by the responsible pharmacist for all orders, declined or approved. All orders for P and GSL medicines are entered in the PMR

The Responsible pharmacist is involved in all aspects of the order and signs the check list to indicate the order is approved or declined.

The pharmacy's website does not include all the required information including details of the owner or superintendent pharmacist or how to check the superintendents registration status.

The pharmacy sends prescription-only medicine stock to UK prescribers and abroad without holding any relevant licenses.

4.3 The pharmacy sends prescription-only medicine stock to UK prescribers and abroad without holding any relevant licenses. The pharmacy has contacted the NPA legal and indemnity department whether WDL is required to supply on a signed order from doctor. Their advice will be forwarded in due course once it has been received.
The doctors concerned have been advised that all future prescriptions to be written for their named patient.
The pharmacy is using an agent for the application of WD licence.
The pharmacy is no longer supplying the pharmacy in Nigeria until it has a licence.
