The pharmacy’s Responsible Pharmacist records are often illegible or incomplete. |
a. The pharmacy shall only use an electronic Responsible Pharmacist Register (e-RP register). b. By exclusively using an e-RP register, records should be legible and make it easier to detect missed entries. So, this record system helps to make sure that entries are clear, accurate, and easier to review. c. All the pharmacists working at the pharmacy have been informed about only using the e-RP register every time they are the RP. They have been reminded that it is their responsibility to maintain a complete and accurate RP record. d. To eliminate the recurring issue of illegible entries, the pharmacy has discontinued using any paper-based RP record. |
