The pharmacy does not manage all of its risks. Some team members have not read and understood the pharmacy’s written procedures and they do not follow them. This increases the likelihood of things going wrong.

Risk assessment to be undertaken to include the suggested considerations in the risk assessment section of the GPhC guidance on providing pharmacy services at a distance.
The risk assessment will be discussed by the superintendent pharmacist and other area managers to ensure it will cover all the aspects and risk related to dossette boxes production.

Pharmacy staff do not receive appropriate training for the roles they undertake as they are not enrolled on accredited training courses within three months of starting in their role.
