All Standard Operating Procedures have been rewritten to include the implementation of FMD which we intend to have in place during the next two weeks. These are currently being sent out to all branches . There are SOPs for Infection Control which covers pharmacy cleanliness , Cold Chain to ensure all items requiring temperature controlled storage are dealt with appropriately and Recording Fridge Temperature to ensure regular monitoring and record keeping. |

Work has already been undertaken to remedy this , Staff have been instructed to thoroughly clean the premises. A programme to redesign the dispensary layout is being drawn up , this will result in a more streamlined dispensing process. Stock will be stored alphabetically , with separate areas for inhalers , ENT preps etc. Comments will be passed to the owner regarding sufficient space for dispensing. |
