The pharmacy does not always adequately manage the risks associated with its services.

-SOPs to be fully reviewed and revised. -New SOPs to be introduced where necessary. All SOPs to be read by all staff members and signed where appropriate. All private prescriptions details to be recorded appropriately. -Near miss records and record of errors to be maintained.
-Regular checking of expiry dates. - New fridge to be bought.
-Cleaning logs maintained up to date. -MDS units securely and safely done.
-Stock storage to be made more secure. STOCK MOVED AWAY FROM THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CUSTOMERS.

The pharmacy is disorganised and cluttered. It has limited clear space to be able to dispense and check medicines safely. There are items on the dispensary floor which are tripping hazards for staff. And the consultation room is untidy.

COMPLETE REORGANISATION AND DECLUTTERING OF THE DISPENSARY AND CONSULTATION ROOM. NO ITEMS TO BE KEPT ON THE FLOOR NEW SHELVINGS ADDED.
