Arkle Pharmacy (1040500) - Improvement action plan

The pharmacy does not always keep its records accurate and up to date, particularly its records about controlled drugs and vaccinations.

All Controlled drugs (CDs) up to date written up. All vaccination records reviewed and raf forms filled out correctly. CDs will be written up daily as opposed to waiting, balance checks for the CDs will be done regularly. Both pharmacists will make sure the CDs are written up and up to date regularly, any issues will be discussed in an informal manner.
Vaccination raf forms will be double checked by both pharmacists to make sure its filled out correctly. Counter staff will double check the patient has filled out all bits on the raf form and alert pharmacist if they haven't. Nothing will be dispensed or given out unless the raf forms have been filled out correctly
