Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is in a row of shops, located near Archway underground station. The pharmacy provides both private and NHS services such as dispensing prescriptions, the New Medicine Service (NMS), Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC), COVID and flu vaccinations, the Pharmacy First service under patient group directions (PGDs), and it runs a travel clinic. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support to manage their medicines at home, and it offers a delivery service. This was a reinspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in July 2024 where the pharmacy was found to be not meeting standard 1.6 but was meeting the other standards. This reinspection mainly focused on this standard which had previously not been met. Following the last inspection, the pharmacy had improved on their record keeping for controlled drugs and vaccinations.

What do the inspection outcomes mean?
After an inspection each pharmacy receives one overall outcome. This will be either Standards met or Standards not all met

What does 'pharmacy has not met all standards' mean?
When a pharmacy has not met all standards, they are required to complete an improvement action plan, which you can find via a link at the top left of this page. We monitor progress to check the improvements are made and inspect again after six months to make sure the pharmacy is maintaining these improvements. A new report will then be published.
