The pharmacy has decided to suspend the service till all relevant requirements to provide the NHS ‘Pharmacy First’ service is fulfilled. SOPS- have been reviewed and signed by pharmacy team members including the superintendent pharmacist. The pharmacy team members have been advised to sign medication upon dispensing and checking, they have been advised to check the dispensing SOPs and correct procedure. A near miss book is already in place, pharmacy team members been advised about the importance of recording and learning from near misses. |
