A review of staffing vs current Smart Works hours to be completed and any vacancies advertised.

Right Person Right Place, Right Time (RPRPRT) to be completed to ensure that we are always staffing the store appropriately.

4.3

The pharmacy doesn’t keep all its medicines securely, which means they are less protected from unauthorised access. And it can’t show that medicines that require cold storage have always been stored at the right temperatures.

All relevant staff are to be retrained on the fridge temperature SOP and be signed off as competent by the PSM.

All Dispensing stock to be stored securely and not left in unsecured areas

4.4

The pharmacy can’t show how it has responded to recent drug alerts and recalls. This could increase the risk that people are supplied medicines or medical devices that are not safe to use.

A complete list of drug alerts and recalls from November 2019 to current to be obtained, actioned and stored appropriately
