The pharmacy has obtained several sizes of White tablet cartons to use for dispensing medicines when full pack is not prescribed. Medicines prescribed in spilt pack quantities will be supplied to patients in a white carton containing all the appropriate information, together with copy of the patient information leaflet. The remainder of the medicine will be retained in the original manufactures pack which will be placed back into stock. The remaining split pack will be marked to show that the pack is no longer full but can be used still for further dispensing |
