Medicines management and storage require review including: date checking records, CDs are not stored in accordance with safe custody requirements, some medicines are not stored in original packaging, some liquid medicines are not endorsed with a date of opening and temperature monitoring in the fridge and storage area with 'Perspex' type roof panels.

Therapeutic monitoring checks to be entered on the PMR.
Date checking records to be updated and recorded regularly.
Patient returned CDs stored in CD cupboard before destruction.
CD cabinet exemption certificate to be updated.
All medicines not appropriately labelled or in manufacturer original packaging to be discarded with waste medicines. Liquid medicines to be marked with date of opening.
Fridge temp monitoring to be checked daily and thermometer reset.
Backroom area temperature monitoring to be checked daily and thermometer reset.
Completed prescriptions for Schedule 4 CDs to be highlighted to ensure supply to patient within 28 days.
Compliance aid labelling to include medicine description and PILs to be supplied with each set of aids.
