Pharmacy context
This is an independent pharmacy located on a busy road, in a parade of shops. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. Other services that the pharmacy offers include the Pharmacy First service, Contraception service, flu and covid vaccination and the Hypertension Case Findings service. The pharmacy supplies multi-compartment compliance packs for people in the community who need this additional support. It also provides a delivery service for the local community. This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in June 2026 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 4.3. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. The pharmacy has provided evidence showing that it has now relocated all medicines previously stored on the retail shelving to secure storage within the dispensary.
