Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is amongst a small parade of retail units in a suburb of Bridlington. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions and sells over‐the‐counter medicines. It supplies many people with their medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to help them take their medication. And it delivers medicines to several people. The pharmacy provides other NHS services including the Pharmacy First Service and the NHS seasonal flu vaccination service. It also provides a private weight loss service, a travel clinic and an ear wax removal service. This was a reinspection following an inspection in September 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.1. This reinspection focused on this Standard which had previously not been met. The written procedures in place reflect current practice for providing the private services. Team members have signed the written procedures to show they have read and understood them. Documented risk assessments for the pharmacy's private services are in place to help ensure the services are delivered safely and efficiently.
