Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is in a large suburb of Newcastle. It dispenses NHS prescriptions and delivers medication to patients’ homes. The pharmacy provides multi-compartment compliance packs to several patients to help them take their medication. It provides other NHS services including the Pharmacy First service and the hypertension case finding service.
This was the first inspection of the pharmacy since it relocated from nearby premises in December 2023.
