Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions, many of which are for acute treatments. It offers the NHS Pharmacy First service, New Medicine Service and seasonal flu vaccinations. It provides advice to people and sells a range of medicines over the counter and it delivers medicines to some people at home. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people who need this help to take their medicines at the right times.
This was a desktop reinspection following an inspection in May 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.6. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy had brought its records about private prescriptions up to date and has made sure its team members have the right skills and training to be able to maintain this improvement.
