Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located on a small parade of shops in a Northampton suburb. Its main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions, some of which it delivers to people's homes. It also sells medicines over the counter and offers the NHS Pharmacy First service and Hypertension case‐finding service. It provides seasonal flu vaccinations and supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to some people who need this support to help them take their medicines at the right time. It also supplies medicines to some people receiving substance misuse treatment. This was a targeted reinspection following an inspection in August 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.6. The pharmacy is now maintaining appropriate records for medicines that require secure storage.
