Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy on a busy street in south east London. The main business of the pharmacy is dispensing NHS prescriptions, of which it dispenses around 7000-8000 items a month. Other services offered include OTC sales, emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) under a patient group direction (PGD), health checks (including blood pressure, HBA1C, cholesterol and body mass index (BMI)), medication deliveries, blister packing (one care home and around 60-70 community patients), medicine use reviews (MURs), new medicines service (NMS), needle exchange, supervised methadone and buprenorphine, C-card (condom supply), and vitamin D supply.

The standards for registered pharmacies are made up of five principles. The pharmacy will also receive one of four possible findings for each of these principles. These are:
