Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is in a large medical centre in Tingley, a town located between Leeds and Wakefield. The pharmacy’s main activities are dispensing NHS prescriptions and selling over-the-counter medicines. It provides many patients with their medication in multi-compartment compliance packs to help them take their medication correctly. The pharmacy provides others NHS services including, Pharmacy First and the hypertension case finding service.
This was an inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected on 06 December 2018 and all standards were met.
