Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is located in the town centre. They dispense approximately 7,000 NHS prescription items per month and in addition to the essential NHS services offer; prescription collection and delivery, medicines use reviews (MUR), MedsXpress – smartphone application, discharge medicines review (DMR), monitored dosage system (MDS) for 150 community patients and one care home with 20 residents, methadone for 25 patients (5 supervised consumption), emergency hormonal contraception (EHC) under a patient group directive (PGD), blood pressure monitoring, weight management, inhaler recycling service, diabetic sharps returns and an enhanced NHS service for emergency supply as services.

What do the summary findings for each principle mean?
The standards for registered pharmacies are made up of five principles. The pharmacy will also receive one of four possible findings for each of these principles. These are:
