Pharmacy context
The pharmacy is located in close proximity to a GP medical centre on the outskirts of the city centre, they dispense approximately 6,000 NHS prescription items per month and provide medicine use reviews (MUR), new medicine service (NMS), methadone for 3 patients - all of which are supervised consumption, minor ailments scheme, prescription collection and delivery, influenza vaccinations for private and NHS patients under patient group directives (PGD) during the influenza season, monitored dosage system (MDS) for 55 community patients, blood pressure monitoring and weight management as services.
