Pharmacy context
This is a community pharmacy in the centre of the village of Prestwood, Buckinghamshire. The pharmacy dispenses NHS and private prescriptions. Its team members sell over-the-counter medicines and provide advice. The pharmacy offers a few services such as supervised administration of certain medicines, Pharmacy First, the New Medicine Service (NMS), local deliveries, travel vaccinations, seasonal flu vaccinations and blood pressure testing. In addition, the pharmacy team provide multi-compartment compliance packs for people who find it difficult to manage their medicines at home.
This was a full inspection of the pharmacy following information of a concern received by the GPhC.
