Pharmacy context
A traditional community pharmacy located on the main road in a small rural village, opening Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (closed for lunch 1-2pm) and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
NHS dispensing is the main activity, typically between 4, 000 and 4, 500 items per month. Other services include MURs, NMS and EHC service.
Medicines were dispensed in MDS trays for about 20 community patients. Two patients received methadone on instalment prescription, both collecting weekly.

What do the summary findings for each principle mean?
The standards for registered pharmacies are made up of five principles. The pharmacy will also receive one of four possible findings for each of these principles. These are:
