Pharmacy context

This pharmacy provides its services at a distance and access to the premises is closed to the public. People visit the pharmacy’s website, www.pharmacy2u.co.uk and contact the pharmacy using a variety of methods including telephone and email. The pharmacy business is a large operation across two sites with the registered pharmacy premises supported by teams based at another site nearby. It's main activity is dispensing NHS prescriptions. It provides multi-compartment compliance packs to several people to help them take their medication correctly. And it offers other NHS services including Pharmacy First and the New Medicine Service. The pharmacy dispenses private prescriptions generated by an associated online private prescribing service registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The online private prescribing service covers a range of medical conditions including weight loss.
This was a full routine inspection of the pharmacy. The pharmacy was last inspected in December 2022 and all standards were met.
