Pharmacy context
A community pharmacy, part of a small chain of 13, located in a parade of shops on a main road in Tolworth.
The pharmacy dispenses between 5,500 and 6,500 items each month. As well as the NHS Essential Services, they provide Medicines Use Reviews (MURs), New Medicines Service (NMS), seasonal influenza vaccinations, Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) via a PGD, smoking cessation, supervised consumption services for 2 methadone patients and 1 buprenorphine patient, Monitored Dosage System (MDS) trays for 47 domiciliary patients and a total of 50 beds in care homes and a delivery service.
The pharmacy is open 9am to 11pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
