Pharmacy context
This busy community pharmacy is located in the centre of the town and most people who use the pharmacy are from the local area. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions, and it sells a range of over-the-counter medicines. It provides Covid-19 and seasonal flu vaccination services and some other NHS funded services including the Pharmacy First Service. Around 30% of prescriptions are sent to the company’s hub to be dispensed.
This was the first routine inspection of the pharmacy since it relocated from nearby premises in August 2024.
