Pharmacy context
This is a distance selling pharmacy in the town of Prudhoe in Northumberland. It dispenses specially made medicines for people who require specific formulations of medicines. The pharmacy receives prescriptions directly from prescribers for a number of conditions including women’s health and pain management. Some of the medicines the pharmacy dispenses are made in the pharmacy’s compounding unit and the pharmacy obtains other medicines from a specials manufacturer and wholesaler associated with the parent company, PCCA. The pharmacy is closed to the public, people do not attend the pharmacy in person to collect their prescriptions. They are delivered to people via courier.
This was the first inspection of the pharmacy since it was registered in July 2023.
