Parkland Pharmacy (9012170)

Inspection outcome: Standards met

Last inspection: 26/03/2025

Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes

Pharmacy context

The pharmacy is located inside a shop unit within a residential new build. It provides NHS dispensing services, the Pharmacy First service, the New Medicine Service, and blood pressure checks. It also provides the flu vaccination service via patient group directions. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi‐compartment compliance packs to some people who live in their own homes and need this support.
This was a reinspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in December 2024 where the pharmacy was found to be not meeting Standard 4.3 but was meeting the other Standards. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. Since the last inspection, the pharmacy has improved its management of medicines requiring cold storage and has introduced a new fridge temperature record.
