Pharmacy context
This is a distance selling pharmacy located within an office building in the centre of the town of Wilmslow, Cheshire. The pharmacy operates private services via the website www.menspharmacy.co.uk. People can access treatments for erectile dysfunction, hair loss and premature ejaculation. The prescriptions are issued by pharmacist independent prescribers. The pharmacy outsources the dispensing of most of the prescriptions to a pharmacy based in Bristol. A small number of prescriptions are dispensed by the pharmacy team.
This was a reinspection following an inspection in June 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1 and 1.2. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met, and Standard 3.1 which had been met, but was an area for improvement. Since the previous inspection, the pharmacy has implemented up-to-date standard operating procedures, prescribing guidelines and risk assessments for the services it provides. Additionally, the pharmacy now has a documented service level with the pharmacy based in Bristol. The pharmacy team has improved its process to make and record details of interventions which helps it monitor and improve the quality and safety of its services.
