The pharmacy had implemented a new website and prescribing process for its weight loss service. This included a full risk assessment, which addresses the risks associated with the provision of weight loss services online. The pharmacy had also created a new process to obtain accurate information about people’s height and weight using a variety of different sources. The prescriber is able to independently verify this information which helps to ensure people who use the service meet its criteria.
