M J Moore Pharmacy (1033260)

Inspection outcome: Standards met

Last inspection: 18/02/2025

Since January 2025 our inspection reports are more concise and accessible - find out more about the changes

Pharmacy context

This community pharmacy is situated on a high street in a residential area of Blackpool. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions, private prescriptions and sells over-the-counter medicines. It also provides a range of services including seasonal flu vaccinations. The pharmacy supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to some people to help them take their medicines at the right time.

This was a reinspection following an inspection in July 2024 where the pharmacy did not meet Standard 1.6. This reinspection focused on the Standard which had previously not been met. The pharmacy had made sufficient improvements in the records it keeps and these contained the information needed. Records of the responsible pharmacist were maintained. Private prescriptions had been recorded in the private prescription register. And records for controlled drugs appeared up to date.
