Pharmacy context
This pharmacy is near a large medical practice in a residential part of Portsmouth city centre. It dispenses people's prescriptions, sells over-the-counter medicines and gives health-related advice. The pharmacy also offers other NHS and private services including a free delivery service to those who are unable to collect their medicines themselves.
This was a routine inspection of the pharmacy which focused on the core Standards relating to patient safety. Not all the Standards were inspected on this occasion. The pharmacy was last inspected in January 2017.
