Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is amongst other retail businesses and close to a medical centre in the Nottinghamshire town of Keyworth. Its services include dispensing NHS prescriptions and selling over-the-counter medicines. It provides NHS consultation services such as Pharmacy First and the New Medicine Service (NMS). It supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs, designed to help people remember to take their medicines. And it offers a medicine delivery service. This was a reinspection following an inspection in November 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.2, 1.6. 4.2 and 4.3. This reinspection focused mostly on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy has improved against all these standards. It has reviewed its written procedures to reflect the technology it uses during the dispensing process. Its team members demonstrate how they engage in shared learning following mistakes made during the dispensing process. And they carry out dispensing tasks safely and effectively. The pharmacy has reviewed its storage arrangements for medicines and regular monitors the environment medicines are stored in. Although it has acted to improve its record keeping, this remains an area of focus for the pharmacy.
