Pharmacy context
This community pharmacy is located on the ground floor of a busy Integrated Care Centre in the centre of town. The pharmacy dispenses NHS prescriptions, and it sells a range of over-the-counter medicines. It provides a seasonal flu vaccination service, and some other NHS funded services including the Pharmacy First Service. The pharmacy supplies some medicines in multi-compartment compliance aid packs to help people take their medicines at the right time. The pharmacy changed ownership in August 2023.
This was a reinspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in March 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.7, 2.1, 2.2, 2.5, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 5.1, and an Improvement Notice was served. This reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met.
