Last inspection: 05/11/2025

Pharmacy context

This is a community pharmacy in a village in South Darenth. It provides NHS services such as the New Medicine Service, the Pharmacy First service and the Hypertension Case Finding service. It also provides flu and COVID vaccination services using patient group directions. It supplies medicines in multi-compartment compliance packs to people who need this support. And it delivers medicines to some people’s homes. It also provides supervised administration of certain medicines.

This was a desktop reinspection of the pharmacy following an inspection in August 2025 where the pharmacy did not meet Standards 1.1, 3.1 and 4.3 but was meeting the other Standards. The reinspection focused on those Standards which had previously not been met. The pharmacy had previously been found to have expired stock in with its dispensing stock, but it has since demonstrated that expiry date checks have been carried out. The pharmacy now has standard operating procedures available, and staff had signed to show that they had read them. And it has replaced the broken handles on the drawers.
